    Product Features

    • Ideal for Flatwork: This stone is perfect for patios, flagstone walkway paths, stepping stones, and courtyards where a thinner yet stable patio stone is desired.
    • Versatile Applications: Commonly used for flagstone pavers, flagstone and pea gravel walkway designs, garden pathways, pool decks, outdoor kitchens, and firepit surrounds.
    • Easier Handling: Lighter than thicker stones, making it easier to shape, transport, and install, especially for DIY landscaping or custom flagstone patio ideas.
    • Durability Meets Design: Resistant to weathering and foot traffic when properly installed with mortar or a compacted base.

    • Shaded Areas: Ideal for installations where moss, moisture, or freeze-thaw cycles are a concern due to its added weight and strength.

  • Installation Recommendations
  • Standup Flagstone is characterized by its thicker (usually 2” or more) and more irregular, upright edges. It provides a rugged, natural look, ideal for pathways, edging, and applications where a defined stone edge is preferred. Patio Flagstone is typically thinner (about 1–1.5”), flatter, and more uniform in shape and thickness, patio flagstone is designed for smooth, stable surfaces perfect for patios and seating areas. Patio flagstone is thinner and needs a flat, stable base with compacted gravel and sand so the stones sit evenly for a smooth surface, perfect for patios. The stones are laid close together and joints are filled with sand or mortar. Standup flagstone is thicker and has rough, natural edges that stand up slightly. It can be installed on a less even base, with wider gaps filled with pea gravel for good drainage, making it ideal for walkways and pathways.
